The Pittsburgh Steelers, PSSI Corporation and the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police will initiate traffic pattern changes during and after events at Acrisure Stadium and PNC Park including remaining Fall 2026 concert events and Pittsburgh Steelers & University of Pittsburgh football games for the 2026 professional and collegiate football seasons. This adjustment will prevent the 14 Ohio Valley and 54 North Side-Oakland-South Side service from performing their regular routing on approach to and departing Allegheny Station.
Effective with the first Pittsburgh Steelers NFL Exhibition Football Game on Thursday, August 13, 2026, Allegheny Avenue will be changed from a two-way street to one way northbound (outbound) from Acrisure Stadium, or between Reedsdale Street and Ridge Avenues.
In an attempt to mitigate post-event traffic faster on Beaver Avenue, post-event temporary traffic pattern changes on Beaver Avenue and intersecting streets will also occur.

During the approach of concert or kickoff times at Acrisure Stadium and select events at PNC Park, during the concert "takes" or during the pre-game "takes", for security purposes, both sidewalks of Allegheny Avenue between Reedsdale Street and Casino Drive will have high cyclone fence barriers installed.
This will prohibit the use and discharge of passengers at the posted Bus Stop on Allegheny Avenue at Reedsdale Street, Farside, in front of Allegheny Station.
Fence installations will occur about three (3) hours before each concert or football game starts and will be removed once all concertgoers are within the stadium and non-ticket holders have been removed from the North Shore OR once the first quarter is underway and fans are secure with the stadium.
During those times, the regular stop will be temporarily discontinued. Inbound 14 Ohio Valley and 54 North Side-Oakland-South Side trips approaching Acrisure Stadium when the fence is installed are to drop off passengers either at the former stop location by the city transit shelter, on Allegheny at Reedsdale (Nearside) or within the Allegheny Station Bus Recovery Area.
