The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, and its prime contractor, Trumbull Corporations, have notified Pittsburgh Regional Transit of single lane restrictions on Camp Hollow Road for roadway and drainage improvements related to the Mon-Fayette Expressway Extension Project beginning Monday, June 1, 2026.
The stop at Camp Hollow Road at Lebanon Church Road (Farside) will be discontinued beginning with the start of service on Monday, June 1, 2026, and continue until further notice.
Due to safety concerns and inaccessibility due to the construction zone, there will be no safe alternative for a relocation on Camp Hollow Road.
Alternative stop for the Inbound 55 - Glassport will be Lebanon Church Road at Camp Hollow Road (12038)
Alternative stop for the Outbound 53L - Homestead Park Limited and the 53 - Homestead Park will be Lebanon School Road at Livingston Road Farside (21230)

Glassport Borough has notified Pittsburgh Regional Transit of their need to close the sidewalk at 440 Monongahela Avenue effective Tuesday, October 7, 2025.
Following a recent building inspection, the structure has been condemned and the sidewalk closed for the safety of pedestrians.
The bus stop on Monongahela Avenue at Fifth Street will be discontinued effective immediately and remain so until further notice.

The City of McKeesport has notified Pittsburgh Regional Transit of safety concerns related to concrete work occurring at a parking garage in the 300 Block of Lysle Boulevard requiring the temporary discontinuance of the bus stop located under the structure.
The stop on Lysle Boulevard at Locust Street (Farside) (Stop ID 18195) will be discontinued effective Monday, June 28, 2025.
The bus stop will be discontinued for approximately three (3) months while repairs are made to the structure.
Riders for routes 55, 56, 59 and 60 should board and alight buses at the prior existing stop locations:
*Routes 55, 56 and 59 - Lysle Boulevard at McKeesport Transportation Center (Stop ID 9919)
*Route 60 - McKeesport Transportation Center at Bay #2 (Stop ID 18158)
