PennDOT District 11 has announced the closure of a portion of Hulton Road in Plum Borough to allow for crews to conduct landslide remediation efforts.
Beginning at with the start of service Monday, August 24, 2026, Hulton Road will be closed between Eastern Avenue and Morath Lane in Plum Borough. Once closed, the road will remain so until Friday, October 16, 2026.
All stops inbound and outbound for the P16H Penn Hills Flyer via Harmar beyond the intersection of Milltown Road and Leechburg Road will remain out of service until the slide remediation is completed and the road re-opened.

Bessemer and Lake Erie Railroad and its primary contractor, Pugliano Construction, will close a portion of Universal Road in Penn Hills beginning on Monday, July 13, 2026.
The closure is to allow crews to begin rehabilitation efforts of the railroad bridge that carries Universal Road over Union Railroad tracks below, requiring the full closure of Universal Road between Thompson Run and Hershey Roads.
The road closure, effective on Monday, July 13, 2026, is anticipated to remain in place continuously through October 2026.
