Pittsburgh Regional Transit has been notified by Franjo Construction, and its subcontractor JSP Excavating, of their intention to close a portion of Frankstown Avenue in the Larimer neighborhood of the City of Pittsburgh beginning Monday, August 3, 2026.
The closure is required to allow contractors to complete utility work on Frankstown Avenue.
Beginning Monday morning, August 3, 2026, Frankstown Avenue will be closed between Paulson Avenue and Enterprise Street from approximately 9:00 AM through 3:00 PM, continuing weekdays until further notice.

The City of Pittsburgh has notified Pittsburgh Regional Transit of safety concerns related to deteriorating building conditions in the 600 Block of Lincoln Avenue requiring the temporary discontinuance of the bus stop located under the structure.
The stop on Lincoln Avenue at Shetland Street (Nearside) (Stop ID 8873) will be discontinued effective immediately.
At this time, the City of Pittsburgh has not provided a time frame for this stop discontinuance, and it will remain in effect until further notice
Riders for routes 82 and P17 can board and alight buses at Lincoln Avenue at Shetland Street (Farside) across the street from the regular stop location.
