    Summary:

    Pittsburgh Regional Transit has been notified by Greece Contracting LLC, on behalf of East Ohio Capital, of their intent to restrict traffic on portions of Cedar Avenue and East Ohio Street in an effort to lift steel beams to the structure at 400-402 East Ohio Street in North Side neighborhood of Pittsburgh on Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

    Traffic will be restricted requiring the closure of travel lanes on both Cedar Avenue and East Ohio Street, with single alternating lane restrictions to occur on East Ohio Street approaching the intersection. Additionally, sidewalks on either side of the building will be closed to pedestrian access requiring the temporary discontinuance of East Ohio Street at Cedar Avenue (Stop ID 19738) during the effort.

    Work is anticipated to occur on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 from approximately 9:00 AM until around 3:00 PM that same afternoon.
