    Summary:

    The City of Pittsburgh has provided a permit to Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority, and their contractor, Mele Mele & Sons, Inc., to close a portion of Ella Street in the Bloomfield neighborhood of Pittsburgh Wednesday, September 2, 2026, in order to perform water line tie-ins.

    Ella Street will be closed between Friendship and Liberty Avenues from approximately 8:00 AM to around 12:00 Noon.

    Additional work will extend into Liberty Avenue at Ella Street restricting travel lanes and potentially causing delays.
