Innovative Proposal Program

Pittsburgh Regional Transit is always seeking ways to improve service, safe money, and create efficiencies. But we don't have all the answers.

An Innovative Proposal is an unsolicited proposal that seeks to contribute unique, new and innovative ideas to how we conduct business, operate service, communicate messages, and more.

We consider Innovative Proposals that contribute new ideas within the area of parts, equipment, and professional services that we deem enhance our ability to deliver public transit services to Allegheny County.

Innovative Proposals do not include unsolicited proposals submitted to PRT joint development/transit oriented development or other real estate projects, proposed advertising in or on PRT’s designated advertising space and/or the proposed installation of art on our property.
