Welcome, and thank you for your interest in Pittsburgh Regional Transit's U-Pass program!

PRT's U-Pass program is open to any university or college that is nationally or regionally accredited by a United States Department of Education-recognized accrediting agency with its main physical campus located in Allegheny County and a student body of at least 2,000 students.

- Administrators at eligible universities should Contact Us to inquire about participation. Please note that if you are not a university administrator but would like your institution to participate in our U-Pass program, contact your school's transportation coordinator. The U-Pass program is not open to individual enrollment.

- Passes are pushed out to students and/or staff by a university administrator

- PRT bills participating universities once a month based on the discounted rate per tap for the taps/scans through their university U-Passes

- Universities are responsible for collecting any fees from students/staff
