Follow these easy steps to ride the bus.
Find Information.
You can Plan Your Trip by entering your starting and ending points to determine which bus(es) will get you there.
Our Customer Service Representatives are available 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekends and holidays by calling 412-442-2000.
You can also find help in-person at our Downtown Service Center located at 623 Smithfield Street in downtown Pittsburgh.The Service Center is open on weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Verify Your Route and Board the Bus
When you see a bus approaching, look at the destination sign above the front windshield to verify the route number.
Remain on the curb until the bus stops.
Pay Your Fare
Tap your card or scan the barcode on your mobile pass.

Exit at Your Stop
Stay alert so you know when your stop is approaching the stop where you want to exit. If you're not sure when to get off the bus, ask the driver to call out your stop.
Signal to the driver you want to get off the bus before you reach your stop. Depending on the type of bus you're riding, you can signal the driver by pulling the cord that runs along the windows on both sides of the bus or pressing the "Stop" button on the handrail near the back doors.
The "Stop Requested" sign at the front of the bus will light up when you have activated the signal.
Wait until the bus pulls away so you can see traffic clearly before crossing the street. For your safety, do not cross in front of the bus.
