Mobility Center

Located in the ACCESS offices at 650 Smithfield St., the Mobility Center gives riders an opportunity to experience what it is like to board a bus, pay fare, and use the wheelchair securements on a full-scale replica of a Pittsburgh Regional Transit bus.

What You Can Practice

Visitors can practice:

Boarding and exiting the bus

Using the ramp and kneeling features

Navigating aisles and priority seating areas

Securing mobility devices

Traveling with service animals

Understanding fare payment and boarding procedures

In addition to hands-on bus orientation, trained and supportive staff are available to answer questions and assist with trip planning.
